  1. I’ve been fortunate to have been surrounded by (mostly) wonderful family all my life. I’ve been blessed with a few friends that I consider family, and nothing beats my grandkids. I love your pictures. Brings back memories of my mom and dad. Thank you for sharing.

    1. Thanks for your comment, Claudia.. I have just two brothers, but grew up with numerous cousins, Uncles and Aunts around us, so was used to a large family influence. Now, I have but three Aunts remaining, including my mother’s two sisters, and am the second eldest of the cousin clans on both my maternal and paternal families…
it’s a strange feeling. My intention with this blog is to ‘introduce’ the generations past to those of the present generation who weren’t fortunate enough to know many of the family that I have known.

The family, however, is bubbling along with young adults and children everywhere, including grandchildren, and numerous first cousins once removed and soon to be more… the changing of the guard is as it should be.

Of course, as a passionate family historian, it is such a delight to be constantly discovering more cousins on a regular basis… and collecting many more friends along the way… many through blogging.
